Where is this course?

Does anyone know about a Shadow Ranch course in Pearland next to Tom Bass? It's listed among Disc Nation's courses - http://www.discnation.com/Texas-Courses-sp-42.html and I can't find anything else about it.

Thanks!

I have played the Shadow Creek Ranch course a couple of times. It is located around a huge drainage pit like McClendan Park. I couldn't give you the directions though. There is no parking lot for the course. It is right off the street so you just park on the street. For directions, I would contact Shadow Creek Ranch. I don't know if I would trust the directions on PDGA course directory. If you live in the area, its worth checking out just for checking it out sake. You start on the north side of the pit and work your way around the pit in a big horseshoe.

Shadow Creek Ranch is humongous. I think I started on McHard, took a left into the subdivision, went aways, took a right, went aways, then a left, then it was on the left. Yeah, definetly heading South and it was on the left. Did that help?:p

I looked at this park once last year but it was raining too hard the day I went to play it. I think it's located here (map link) around the pit but it's been a long time and there are many more roads out there now. Can anyone verify?

I went by the park and it is located at the map location above. It's a very short course and poorly marked, maybe 200' average length and short shrubs and young trees are the only obstacles. There is no parking nearby and worst of all, there's a children's playground located fifteen feet away from one of the baskets. I'm going to try to get a round in here this week and I'll have more feedback.

Directions: Take 288 south to Broadway (518) and make a right. Turn right on Halfmoon Bay Drive and park at the rec center at the end of Halfmoon Bay (where it Ts into Clear Lake Loop). Walk east on the trail along side Clear Lake Loop until you see the playground on the right side of the road. That's where the park is located. The first Tee is somewhere around there.

No parking, hard to find, poor design. It all added up to not being on the Birdshot Greater Houston Mini Championship Series (BGHMCS). I think the only other ones not on the series is Pecan Grove (told it is not worth it), Rice (heard it was pulled), Wortham Trails (waiting on tee markers) and there is another course at a Northside church off of Kuykendahl? I'll try to get to it someday or wait to hear from a reliable source on whether it should be a part of series. McClendan Park will be going up on the schedule soon on Oct 3rd. I was waiting to hear back from the Parks people, but I don't think that is going to happen. If there are any others within 40 miles radius of Mozola (I use the PDGA course directory to determine this) let me know and we will check it out. Our mission is to hit them once a year to see how they are doing.

I'm not surprised. The course looks like it was put in by someone who has no idea how disc golf is played. There are scattered cement boxes on the course, about 3' x 4', which may be tee-boxes, but I don't know. I'll report more details after I play a round there but it looks like this course may make Clute look difficult.

Here's the course on DGCourseReview.com and here's a photo I took just to verify there are baskets out there:
