I played this course on Thursday (2/20/10) there were no standing water but there were some muddy areas.

The course is very easy to play just beware of the first hole and the last hole. On the first hole I nailed the A/C unit and the last I hit a truck tire.

Yoshi,

As the co-designer and builder of this course, I can say don't worry about hitting the building on hole one. We designed this hole to play around the building for it's challenge, knowing it would get nailed a LOT. It's a tank of building, so no worries. As far as the truck... well I guess they'll learn not to park there again : )

Thanks for posting,

Is the baskets shorter? They sure seem that way or it can just be me but it seem that every putt I had was downhill.

InStep baskets meet all PDGA specs:

But virtually no one is going to mistake them for top quality catchers.

Just got back from the course. There is now a slab of concrete in front of tee box 3. Dont have a clue what is was for just played around it.

There is also some standing water and a couple of muddy spots but very easy to navigate and still a fun course.

Hey Yoshi, I saw you out there playing yesterday. I work in the building that hole one plays around, so if you're ever out here again, stop on in and Larry and I would love to play a round.

The new concrete slab by tee 3 is actually for a new church sign we are installing. We will be moving the tee zone shortly, not much- just enough to get it out of the way.

If you wanted, you could check out dgcoursereview.com and tell others what you think of MDGC in the review section. That's always helpful and appreciated!

Thanks,

Ryan Beasley

Sounds great. I am sure you heard the loud fwacks coming from outside too.

I will definitely come and get you guys if I do play again. I need some more practice before I actually play others.

I already seen that website thats how I found out about Memorial Drive Baptist.

who drives the Toyota 4 Runner near tee 2? So I know who to apologize when I hit it. I have been playing from the alternative tee box to avoid it.

Nice placement of tee box 3 made it a little harder. I played here last Saturday and it was the first time I have been back since the relocation of tee box 3.
