I received this over the weekend at home. Thought it was a legit message, so I clicked on the link. Computer at home is now jacked up. Any ideas Guys? Thanks.

same here. I usually don't click on stuff like that, but with all the changes happening here, I didn't know if Nick or Eric added that service. Any help is appreciated. :(

I almost went for it too....a piece of spam that got through! At first I couldn't even delete it from my PM notification, but it finally deleted just now.

:( that sucks man. definitely spam. I'm just editing the website content - i'm not an admin on the forums to give you any info.

Yeah it does. Thanks for keeping up with the website, BTW.

I'd deleted the spammer account yesterday.

The PM didn't go to everyone, so unless users report spam PM's the moderators might not know about them.

The version of vBulletin that HFDS is running is several revs behind and has some known vulnerabilities. Only Larry has the power to get this updated.

These are good products that are free you might try for cleaning up your computer. If the spyware/virus is sophisticated at all, a rollback won't help.
