Just wanted to make sure you guys know that the minis rarely fill...in fact, I can think of only one time (Miramar last year...52 players!!!) that has happened. So pre-registration definitely isn't required, but it's cool seeing people using the PayPal feature Birdshot now has on our website.

Remember, gang....Chuck's got a special prize for any player who can go the whole round with no OB! If there's more than one of you, the best score will be the winner. We will also have a special Easter CTE (closest to the egg!) that should be a lot of fun, so come join us tomorrow morning...sign-ups start at 8:00!

We had about 23 people show up this morning for the OB Obsession at First Colony. Neal Dambra was the only player to have no OBs on his round and won a $32 gift certificate to Disc Golf Consultants. Neal also shot -15 on the 20 holes we played today.

After the mini we had a special Easter themed CTE with three eggs filled with either $13, $7 or $1 from the Ace pot. We picked which egg to throw at, tried to dodge the volleyball net and land our disc near the right egg. Good fun. Photos, videos and details will be up on the Birdshot website tomorrow.

20 holes at total length of 5,265'. SSA = ~54.6

Neal birdied 16 of the 20 holes. He 3'ed regular #4, alt #1, alt #6... and 4'ed alt #5.

The WCP spreadsheet I use for ratings usually comes out a bit on the high side of what the final/official PDGA ratings end up, but I think it's safe to say that Neal threw at least a 1070 round.

Thank you for the round rating info. That is always nice to know, especially when I have a good round. Surely that was Neal's best round rating ever at First Colony. I don't know what his best round rating at the SWHM at First Colony is, but surely not that good. He seems to cash every event he plays in. Maybe the SWHM slows him down a little though. Geez, 16 birdies. Plays it like Cedar Brook elementary.
