Birdshot Mini/Saturday, October 9, 2010

Here's another one I can't make because of a once a year training class I have to do Saturday morning, but hopefully the rest of you will come on up to the "Nawth Side" for some disc golf & possibly some prayer time! See the Birdshot website for more details!

I'm looking forward to this mini. The course is one of the better nine hole courses I've played and the weather looks perfect.

I'll be there.

We've been working hard cleaning up the course the last few weeks. We'll hit it extra hard Thursday and Friday to clear up a few brushy areas that need trimming in the fairways.

If anyone would like to lend a hand we'd appreciate it. I'll be out their working both Thursday and Friday during the day and evening. I'd be out their Wednesday but work calls and I'll be out of town all day.

Are the tee signs still in the way of throwing?

derek,

Do you remember which tee signs were in your way? We've moved a few of them to be 4ft. offset which I think is regulation. We're doing other fine tuning of the course this fall so if you could let us know which tee signs are in your way we'll see about moving them.

Hey Bryan,

It was just a review I read from Chase, I havent actually been there yet but he was saying the tee signs were in the way of throwing so I just was curious if that had changed before playing an event there. I have heard alot of good things about the course otherwise.

Thanks!

OK, Thanks. I'll be out there tomorrow to see which tee signs might be in the way.

I haven't been out in a while since I moved, but over the summer I remember there being at least one or two signs in the way of a good backhand drive. I believe it was hole 5 (shot that finishes downhill from the canopy of trees?) and another

What a great time! My first tournament and we had perfect weather and a great group of folks to have fun with.

Special thanks to all who staff and organize these tournaments.
