Conditions after hurricane Ike
 

Not that there were that many trees at the LINKS to begin with, but most of them survived though a little worse for the wear. The tree on #2 was the worst hit and may not make it. #1 and #3 trees had some decent damage. A big limb is down on #11 and #15 has a few limbs down. Nothing that impacts the course's playability.

I've installed small bricks marking all the locations of the tees for the entire course. You won't see them from a distance but if you know the general location of the tee or consult the maps you should be able to find them.

This should stop the "tee creep" that has been moving some of the temporary tee markers around from where they should be. Also the parks department had a bad habit of mowing over the flags that were in place.

• Blue brick -- Long Tee
• Red brick -- Short Tee (* not all holes have a short tee)
• Yellow brick -- Drop Zone
• Red/Yellow brick -- Short tee and Drop Zone.
• White Brick -- 9-Hole LINKS LARGO tee

Neal Dambra and Don Wilcheck designed "The LINKS", i.e. red & blue tees.

Neal Dambra & I designed the "LINKS Largo", i.e. the white-long tees.

are these tees marked? Last time I went there was no indication of where to throw from on many of the holes. So I decided to just throw into the water, as a statement.

All the tees and drop zones are currently marked with bricks in the ground. Also, since post #5 we've installed the remaining nine tees & bricks for the rest of the Largo course.
