Billy and I went out to Burke-Crenshaw Park today to meet Tyler Knittle. Tyler had talked to Bob Ellis of Pasadena Parks and got him to approve the redesign of the course from the remaining 4 baskets to the current 10 baskets that wind halfway around the lake. Bob also agreed to add an additional 8 baskets to make it an eighteen basket course. The new baskets will bring the course all the way around the lake and back to the parking lot. Tyler did a good job on the redesign of the 10 baskets and he also has a good design in place for the additional 8 baskets. If we can get a committment of people bringing out temporary baskets for the Birdshot mini on Feb. 20th, we can let people see what the final design will look like. We will work with as many baskets as we get that day. If we end up with 12 or less holes to play during the mini, we have alternate tee boxes picked out to make it 2 rounds of 10-12. Kudos to Tyler Knittle for making contact with Pasadena Parks and getting them to redesign and possibly expand to 18 baskets. If you want to committ to bringing out a temp basket on Feb. 20th, email me at
