Most of the time during the year you cannot play the Wilmont, as it was designed, parks does not mow. That has to do with the ratings, not just distance, It is a long course and will teach you to throw long, what is wrong with that? Most courses in Houston demand you throw 350' or less., how does that improve your long game, I don't have one so I can't answer that. Just trying to help the players with game, or wanting to get better.

not to sure where yo decucted that i had fear of the willmont or even myself being a pussy about playing a hole over 400ft. be very careful this is a houston public board. you need to read better next time lou. to tell you the truth its the overall mentality of of the regular joe disc golfer that keeps me from playing as much as i used to. a few good close friends is what keeps me playing and supporting the in town activities.
