I think there's a preference somewhere for how long it keeps you logged in. I just check the "keep me logged in" box when I login and it never logs me out.

If you're paranoid about doing that for some reason, you can compose your message in an alternate editor, like Notepad, and then paste it to the browser window just after logging in to the HFDS forum.
