Just a note:
There is now a cut through along the pond behind basket #2 that leads to Tee box #3. We need folks to start using this path to limit erosion on the detention pond banks. The new path still comes out at the edge of the detention pond but is very close to the #3A tee box until I can either build a bridge across the ditch or fill it in with dirt.
If you're out early in the morning you can stop along the path and view a variety of critters in the pond. Along with a great variety of birds, I saw a pretty good size snapping turtle and a very large Diamond Back Water Snake in there when I was cutting the path. Unless it's a Rattler, Cottonmouth or Copperhead, please don't kill the snakes.
