It's pretty much automated; I'd say by the evening after the event you'll know your round ratings. Don't expect it between rounds though, that was a bit too much at MacGregor. |
You said it was your first sanctioned tourney, so this doesn't apply directly to you... but it fits in the conversation:
The PDGA is usually pretty good about going back and giving you ratings for all the sanctioned tourneys you played prior to joining,
in the year you joined after joining up with them... if you specifically request it.
E.g. You paid the $10 non-member fee for two tournament in June 2010 and July 2010. They will be unrated for you. You join the PDGA in September 2010. You then send the PDGA an e-mail requesting that they rate your rounds in June and July. They should rate any sanctioned events you played in 2010, but not prior to that.
