How can you comment on broken rules when you get your info thrid party? I say again, participate here, now, and maybe you get the result you are looking for. No it isn't EASY, we are "going for it", and TOGETHER we will succede as we already are starting to.
Stick around town and participate in these events and you will see that while in certain instances there have been rules mistakes, they are not the kind that have been to the detriment of the integrity of the game.
Again, you would know these things if you stayed in town and played in more than one a year. I think it's great you play all over. So do I, but some of us got started here, and have a sense of loyalty to the area as a result. That is WHY we ARE making improvements. Last year we had how many sanctioned events? And this year we have a series!
Is it the end all be all of disc golf tournament experiences? NO, and those of us who have played other events in other cities, states, or countries, have stated as much. Shoot, Birdshot even acknowledged those who played in worlds this year promoting it as an event that IS what disc golf can be! But is it the end all be all of Houston Disc Golf? IT IS! EVEN IF BY DEFAULT! Sue, if Birdshot takes the lead and runs with state's next year, will you participate? Or will we read the usual you guys suck, go play elsewhere speech we have become accustomed to after any birdshot or houston based event?
