Thanks Derek, Glad to see you out there Saturday.. If there hadn't been 3 full Open cards I would have jumped on yours
To answer Griff.... No one has hit an ace during the mini.
Saturday we had 31 players in the mini... Lots of tags switching hands and everyone trying to hit that Ace... Ace pot is still intact and closing in on $400.00...
Doug Rogers and Fred Needham will be running the mini for the next few months. My kids start soccer league this week and I'm now coach Scott. So I'll be running 5 year olds soccer games on Saturday mornings until TXsDGC weekend. Hopefully the Ace Pot will continue to grow and will be at $1,000.00 when I can get back out there...
I think Doug is planning on holding the mini this week even though the ice bowl is going on at Moffit. If so, I will send a donation to Conrad and play the WW mini one last time. After spraining my ankle really bad, (at my age they don't fully heal anymore) I don't risk re-injuring it on Moffit's T-boxes, just not worth the risk for me.
We know that the following holes have been aced at one time or another.
Hole 1 - skip aced
Hole 4 - aced several times by hole sponsor Fred Needham
Hole 5 - not sure if it's been aced, but it most likely has been at 213'.
Hole 6 - skip aced by Noble Justice
Hole 7 - was aced last week
Hole 8 - aced a few times.. Blind ace..
Hole 9 - aced by Scott Taylor
Hole 20 - I'm sure this will be the next one aced.
With an honorable mention = Hole 11 - Matt Hall hit the pole!! Monster shot
