Birdshot's next sanctioned series event will be Saturday August 20th at Steve Dufrane's Shawshank DGC just outside of Huntsville....home of the 2011 U.S. Masters this past spring! There are quite a few sponsors this time around who are coming together to bring this one to you in order to help raise some money for the United States Womens Disc Golf Championship which will be held this fall in Round Rock, Texas...The Warden, Mr. Dufrane himself, will be kicking back a dollar from every players greens fee, if you opt in to pay $5 for Double Dave's Pizza for lunch then Double Daves will kick back a dollar, Susan Macaluso is donating items for sale & all proceeds will go towards USWDGC, Joe Hague & Southern Star will have a keg flowing for donations and, of course, our title sponsor Disc Golf Consultants will be conducting an all day CTP For CTP contest (much like the one they did at the finale last year at Brooks). Sure it'll still be hot, but there's lots of shade at Shawshank & Steve will water out all over the place...so make plans to come up & get yourselves beaten black & blue with a Roc!
