The size of the green and the distance from the box should be the only challenge and that has a typical 2,3,4,5, scoring distribution.
The final option "US Master lay up zone" brings a 2,3,4,5 scoring distribution. This option takes into consideration the people who can't reach the island from the tee.
The talk after US Master's wasn't about how small the green was or some made up rule for the island hole. It was, "why didn't I go to the lay up zone..."
Typical scoring distribution excludes DZ ace
