There is a strong possibility that the City of Houston will impose a smoking ban in all Houston parks due to the drought. Currently the Mayor's office and HPARD are looking into the feasibility of such a ban. Already the city has banned open flames (BBQs, camp fires) in parks. If the city imposes such a ban it will fall under section 3.3 of the PDGA Player Code of Conduct, i.e. players caught smoking will receive a disqualification.
Let's hope the rain in the forecast shows up and drenches our city. We need it.
