Wednesday nights is DDC night!!! 5:30 - 7:30pm at Independence Park just off from Beltway 8 and Tanner Rd.
A few of you have wondered "What is DDC?"
It is a Frisbee game, sort-of like doubles in tennis. Teams each have to guard a 40 foot square court. The two courts are about 40 feet apart. The object is to toss a frisbee into the other teams court. If they catch your throw, no point is scored. If they miss your throw, then you score a point. If you throw the Frisbee and it doesn't land in the other teams court, then your opponents get a point. Sounds easy, doesn't it? Ha-ha! (It's only a square 40 feet and there are two of you to "protect" it, how hard can that be?) Yeah - right! Play to eleven points...ought to be over with quick, right? Heh-heh-heh...
