Yes this is a change from last year and how it's played in the Southwest Handicap Mini. Playing the ditch & beyond as OB turns some pretty easy holes into holes where you have to have much better control of your tee shots and puts some serious though into how you putt at baskets #3-5. We've play tested the course several times and the feedback has all been good. The front nine now has some teeth.

The ditch is strung. The stringing crew was out there today putting down almost a mile worth of string.

Teeboxes that are on the wrong side of the ditch have been declared "in-bounds islands" from which you may legally throw. If you fail to cross over the ditch in-bounds you must re-tee with penalty (the exception is #5 which has a DZ for all OB tee shots).
