The Jan 2008 rating for Nicole (and Tracy) was incorrect. I brought this to the attention of the PDGA. The error was fixed and the ratings were updated one month later (Feb 2008) with the correct ratings. Therefore the Feb 2008 rating of 753 is correct and the PDGA should probably have removed the Jan 2008 rating since it was wrong (the Jan rating should have been 753 not 768). Tracy also played in this tournament had the same type of ratings error.

The ratings error occurred in the Dec 2007 First Colony Open. Nicole received the following ratings after the tournament:

Round 1 rating – 934 (included in the Jan 2008 ratings update)
Round 2 rating – 620 (PDGA dropped this rating because it was below the standard deviations cutoff)

However the corrected ratings (Feb 2008) are as follows:

Round 1 rating – 703 (included in the Feb 2008 ratings update)
Round 2 rating – 774 (included in the Feb 2008 ratings update)

Where do I report a ratings error? The ratings for the intermediate women for the First Colony Open I (Dec 1st 2007) are not correct.

1st round
Nicole's 1st round rating is listed as 934. This is wrong since the Intermediate women played from the short tees and were the only division to play from the short tees. The 1st round should not be rated.

2nd round
Nicole's 2nd round rating is listed as 620. This is wrong since the intermediate women played from the long tees (just like everyone else). The ratings for this round seem to go up or down by 10 points per stoke. Therefore if a 68 has a rating of 812, then a 70 should have a rating of 791 or 792. So Nicole's second round rating should be around 791, not 620.
