I'm not really in favor of adding any holes unless it is 18 baskets. Even 9 hole courses with two tees see more play than a course like Nottingham with its 12 holes.
League play has to run on a consistent layout in order for HFDS to generate ratings. Adding more course configurations for league play will likely preclude us from being able to generate ratings on every possible configuration.
One of the benefits we create for club members is the HFDS player ratings for league competitions...and so I'm pretty sure that we'd want to continue running leagues at Mozola and to be able to generate ratings as a result of it.
I wouldn't be opposed to seeing us drop a couple of baskets out in the new area in favor of creating a stronger 9-hole course (with two tees) instead. (Move the "old" # 9 back to original setup, eliminate current #6 (allowing current #7 to be a bit longer with the basket moved back to its old location).
An odd number of baskets out there just wouldn't work too well for me or for club ratings.
