Larry, I can't speak for how the ratings worked originally or even several years ago. But I have gotten to know the system that's been in place for the last couple years.

Need at least five propagators (all playing the same layout) to get the round rated. All the PDGA members are rated against all the propagators (those rated 800 or higher).

No extra weight per division. Only the the player ratings.
