I guess the disc divers must not be players....if they were, whatever happened to the days when if you found a disc with somebody's name & number on it you called them & attempted to meet up somewhere? I still do that whenever I find a disc. Now granted, going into the water is not something I want to do...even for my own disc! If I can't see it & retrieve it with a long branch or whatever, then I just consider it gone. If I get back up to Bear Branch soon & see you guys out there & see one of my discs, maybe I would go ahead & pay the $3 to get it back...probably I would (I can see charging a fee for getting into cold, nasty water to get a disc). I wonder though...if the parks department knew you guys were out there getting these things out of the pond & then turning around & selling them out on the course, do you think they would be okay with that? Would you need a vending permit? Or considering that it's The Woodlands, wouldn't they want their cut? Just curious.....

The saddest part about that whole situation............it isn't like those guys are from poor impoverished neighborhoods who are just trying to get by. A good illustration about the current generation and their total lack of consideration. For them, the world revolves around them and them only, and you should consider yourself priviledged to have the opportunity to pay those broke blokes money.

And be careful, they'll be the one's throwing on you before you hole out. Spoiled brats who should be introduced to the real world.
