I went out and played Seabrook with my son today. Considering that I live in Seabrook, it was my first time playing there in ages. I was very happy to see progress being made on the course. Here's what I can report:
- Baskets #1 and #9 are still missing (another player on the course told me the city removed #9 to allow access to the areas they needed to clear).
- There's four big mounds of trail & Tee box dirt in the middle of the big field.
- There was a city crew there putting in new trails and Tees today.
- Baskets #2, #3 and #4 have a lot less trees now. #3 and #4 are completely different now with fewer trees.
- The Tee for #3 is gone.
This is still a great course, not as difficult as it used to be though, and the work by the city is promising. I hope that things continue to improve, and I'll be out there playing this course more often now.
