The 41st running of the Commando Mini will be running again this morning!
The weather looks to be great this morning! Mid 70's with LOTS of wind! The weather.com site is showing that by 10:00 am the wind is supposed to be at 13 mph and by 1:00 pm we should be looking at a steady 20 mph!
As we get closer to Texas States time, it's always kind of fun to see how much money we've raised for Texas States. As of last Sunday, we have raised $487 in the one dollar donations per player! Add to that half of the mulligan fund, and it gets us to about $732 total! We've still got about 5 more weeks left too! With a few good weeks of attendance, it looks as if we might be able to break the $800 mark! Wow!!! Over 500 player-rounds in this past year!
I cannot thank all of you players enough for coming out to play in the Commando Mini!
Is it too soon to start talking about next year's running of the Commando? Should I run it again next year?
