Default send dax and kula to deaf disc golf championships

hey h-town dg'ers, two of our own , Dax Nutt and Kahlila Merritt have expressed a desire to represent houston at the 12th National Deaf Disc Golf Championships in seattle , july 12-14th, so we are gonna send 'em. Cory's Bicycle Shop/ disc golf pro shop, birdshot/dg pro shop, northside chain gang and h.f.d.s. have all showed sincere interest in helping and now i'm reaching out to you on a personal level. Our goal is to raise $800 to cover their airfare. I feel that since this such a worthy cause i will simply be taking donations at local events. the first being the birdshot/ dg pro shop event at tc jester, so if your able , bring a couple extra bucks. Any contributions will greatly appreciated and feel free to contact me at any time with donations or questions. thanks in advance houston!

Default Re: send dax and kula to deaf disc golf championships

i typed this earlier with my 6 mo old son in my arms waiting for a bottle to heat up so i feel i should have included a few more things, as c-mac said, dax and kula are great people and great disc golfers, dax has won a couple local turnies in the adv div and kula represented hou in the open div at tx states, i was contacted by dax asking what and how he could do to try to get himself there, he's a hardworking guy with children and he conveyed that his finances would cover turny entry, food and lodging , but if this were to happen for them, they needed assistance with airfare.while he was willing to do the leg work and just wanted some direction. i saw an opportunity to help out a friend and took the lead on this. thanks again guys and i'll see y'all on a course soon
