Default Spiders

The Spiders at Kingwood are starting to go away. I was out there earlier this week , and I only counted about 10. Not the usual 100+ that I am used to seeing out there. I almost walked into this one. This was one of the biggest I have seen out there, so I had to take its picture:

I was there yesterday and I counted about 60 spiders, so they are still out there pretty strong. I did shoot a 58, with a birdie on #12. That is the best I have ever shot out there.

congrats on the 58...that's a very challenging course that demands pinpoint control..

that spider printed on a white disc would make a cool tourney disc for Kingwoods next tounament "The Arachnoid Open"

That was a big spider, Phil....and it would look cool on a disc! Too bad it's so expensive to have those specialty discs made...or we'd do one for every tournament. Great picture, though!

Thanks. I came with in a foot of walking into that spider. That is one of the biggest I have ever seen out there. It was taken on the #6 fairway about 25 feet before the basket.

I agree, that would make a really cool disc for the next Kingwood tournament. Maybe someone can copy that picture and see if they can find someone to make them at a good price for the next tournament. I would buy one for sure.

yeah hole #6...that's where I spent 35 minutes in a horror movie creeping around the dead trees on the right side of the fairway looking for my only disc

I retired that disc to the backyard after that day...I just don't trust it anymore and we are no longer on speaking terms

Thanks for sharing the picture, my friends didn't believe me until they saw this photo

The spider is sitting on the web and I am holding the disc about 6 inches behind the spider. I saw another guy take a similar picture about a year ago, so I thought it would look cool against my new Star TL.

Only six legs on that spider? Probably lost two of them in a battle with a dog.
