Hey people,
Just a reminder that this weekend we will be playing RIPT to continue our fund raising drive for improvements on the Bear Branch course in The Woodlands.
For those not familiar with RIPT, google the game and check it out. The basics are that it is a card game that is played while you play disc golf. The cards have a really cool feature in that they have consequences and activities associated with them. Example, "if your opponent just made a putt, they have to make it again, this time using their off hand." or, "Make a new tee box within 60 feet of the original tee box." (honestly, these are two of the nicer cards LOL)
The event will be held at SHAWSHANK. If you need directions for this weekend, please feel free to call either myself or Steve Dufrane. We had a GREAT turnout for our first week (28), and we hope to have more. So if you want to play a round of disc golf that is anything but what you are used to playing, come on out and find out what RIPT is all about. After last weekend's event, we played a round of RIPT doubles, and then again @ Bear Branch on Sunday. Everybody loved it. This week we will get started @ 10 am. So the numbers are below, give us a hollar and we'll get you directions. Thanks for all the support last week, now lets keep it up.

man, sounds a bit confusing might have to have less cfo's just to figure this out. btw, I can't make it but let me know when the next doubles will be? I am off to Corpus this weekend. I will do my best to spread the word tho.

Well, I think it will be a fun event, maybe even more so because of the change in location. 18 holes of RIPT at a fun course like Terramont is a little more doable too. Sorry you won't be there Matchu, but we'll keep ya posted.
