Hope they mowed it. It used to be so tall it was unplayable.

Any maps or more details for the less informed?

9 hole course on Rice campus near the corner of main and university. Mostly short but very fun, one of my favorite 9 hole courses in Houston to practice your approach game. There might have been a map on the old message board, but i cant find that Rice thread (maybe Eric can dig it up?) Anyways I will take a stab at making a new map from memory. Would also be easy to add alternate tees for this course. Ill try to verify that the course is actually back, and then it could probably have a page on dgcoursereview as well

Thanks Eric. That old message board is just a goldmine, wish we could have it back. How exactly did you find that Misc. Courses thread?

I was there a few days ago, they were clearing brush from part of the course, but basket one is not in the ground, they used to have it proped up between cinder blocks, not its lying next to the maintenance shed. Hole 2's basket is in the thick of tall grass and short trees. The rest of the baskets are there and in pretty good condition. Most tee markers are gone though. |

Not really sure where the best place to park is located. I walk over to the course from school. |

I notice there is a garage across the street on Main. That is the closest place to park, but you will have to pay. The cheapest place to park on campus, is in the west lot of the football stadium , its only $1 to park, but its about a mile walk to the course.
