Supposedly, the park wasn't planning to have to make any changes to the course, but maybe they forgot about the practice basket. I'll fire off an e-mail to HPARD and see if they know anything about it. Hopefully, it'll just be a case of HPARD removing it prior to building out the parking lot.

Hopefully its what you suspect about the renovation. If not and it was stolen
 I believe HPARD still has some baskets warehoused somewhere and they should be able to replace it at no cost.

I was there yesterday afternoon and saw two dudes putting at the practice basket. There were three other high school kids passing a cigarette or something around. I can probably identify them. I know I have a good idea of what the golfers looked like. (dirty and need of a matching set of clothes)

I just talked to a friend of mine who said the parking lot is now fenced off and you have to park in the street. Whats up with that.
