Gang --- I am trying to set the date for the E R O this September. The ranch is open Sept 18th and Sept 25th. I am thinking the 18th with a second choice of the 25th. The only thing I can find is a mini ( Eric's at Riverpoint Church on the 25th). If anyone knows of anything going on the 18th or 25th let me know by Friday. If there are no major conflicts, I am planning on reserving the Lake House and golf course on the 18th.
Once again the plan is to payout 100% of all entry fees and provide free lunch at the break. www.eberlyranch.com Last edited by ERicJ; 09-06-2010 at 03:41 PM. |

Hi Mr. Ed,
If for some reason you end up needing the 25th, we will move ERic's evil alts at RiverPoint Church to another weekend. I hope the 18th sticks. I will play Rec this year to stay out of the Tin Cup Advanced Grandmaster division. Unless I increase my driving distance and accuracy.

I'm in, either weekend, but only if Mr. Ed sings Happy Birthday to me.

I'm sure Mr. Ed Morgan will be posting the official info on this one very soon, but I just wanted to go ahead & start a thread so that those of you who have attended the past many years & haven't heard about it yet could mark your calendars! This is a great event up near Chapel Hill that only happens once a year on a private ranch/game preserve....usually very affordable & 100% cash payout & a good lunch. Watch for details coming soon to an HFDS message board near you!

OK Guy's and Gal's:
Here's the skinny on the E.R. Open -- straight from the horses mouth: 6th Annual Eberly Ranch Open Disc Golf Tournament Saturday, September 18, 2010 Chappell Hill, Texas (45 minutes Northwest of 290/1960) Fun Format: Cowboy Golf Round 1 Singles - Round 2 Doubles Doubles Teams determined by Best and Worst scores from Round 1 $25 Entry Fee All Divisions + $5 Ranch Fee Sign up 7:30am to 8:30am First Round 9:00am BBQ Lunch for all Players -- Swimming Pool Onsite!! Registration taken on Saturday morning but RSVP required by September 15, 2010 (to determine player count for BBQ lunch!!) RSVP with player and guest count to Mr. Ed at: hfds081@yahoo.com or 713-409-7751 For DIRECTIONS go to www.eberlyranch.com You must be signed up by 8:30AM to get in!!!!!!!! EBERLY RANCH / POWERS INDUSTRIES OPEN Details You may bring your family, guests or even if you are not going to be able to play just come out and hang out for the day. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under control at all times as there is a variety of livestock on the ranch. Be sure to bring your bathing suit as there is a beautiful swimming pool just above the golf course (great place to cool off between rounds). Kids under 12 have to be with an adult. Be aware that everyone entering the ranch property will be assessed the ranch fee of $5 each. I will only be taking 72 players and will be keeping a running list of the RSVP’s and if we exceed the 72 spots the earlier you appear on the list the safer you are. So RSVP as soon as you can. P.S. I will need to pull together 18 baskets as this is a temp course so if you can bring a basket or even a couple, please let me know ASAP. Also I am still looking for hole sponsors to help with the expense of the tournament. As a $25.00 hole sponsor, you get an 8 ½ X 11 tee sign on the hole of your choice (first come first served) for you or your business. You design the sign and e-male it to me in a format I can print (full color but not landscaped as this is hard to mount on the tee marker). Last edited by ERicJ; 08-31-2010 at 02:03 PM. Please excuse the weird formatting on the previous post. It was my first attempt at pasting a couple of word documents into a post and then editing them.
