8th Annual Pleasure Island Classic/Feb. 6, 2010

Mark your calendars now for this one....Birdshot & Golden Triangle Disc Golf Club present the 8th Annual PIC on Saturday, February 6 in Port Arthur, Texas! This will be your last chance to play Berry's Treasure in a tournament setting....the course is being pulled & moved a little further down the island to another park. This is one of the original Worlds courses from years ago & holds a lot of windy, mosquito-bitten memories for many of us...it's not very often that you can watch a huge freighter glide past you in the water while you're trying to make a putt into a 25 MPH gust! I cant wait for this one. That was a fun tournament last year and they had some cool gear. If you never played this course before you should considering it is the last one.
I have been looking forward to playing back there and defending my title in the advanced group for awhile. I am really looking forward to beating all those Beaumont "boys". I will have to show them how to play like a man.

I promise you dem beaumont "boys" is looking for some revenge... you cant be disrespecting the locals by woopin up on them on their home course! That sidearm sally crap aint gonna cut it next month buddy

Good luck in ADV guys! If you want to do well at worlds you need to play some smaller events in MPO to get your mental game down better. Believe me if you don't you will come short of your expectations in Ohio with the extra pressure that comes with the event.

Seriously, I don't know what Advanced players would play Open but I'm sure we'll have a nice Masters field.
