I know when we are all together we all get along real well. (remember the big love fest at Spring Valley after a few months of insults and everyone vowing to leave the board) that's what we need, we need to get together and put our bags down for a day and work together hand in hand ... Hey I got an idea... Feb 20. Everyone come to Windwood and let's pour concrete together and love our fellow brothers and sisters... (I know, shameless plug) but it would help us all remember why we love each others company and bring us together again..

I think they should challenge each other to a round with some plastic on the line like you and I did out at Kingwood.

C'mon now, we're all just trying to have a 'lil fun! Those that don't indulge can either enjoy reading others rants or ignore them.
I'm ALL for flying zingers. Are you kidding me, that would be more fun than the game itself. I just want us all to be on a level playing field.

For example, when the board moderator (just an example) takes a shot at me and I, in turn, make him (or her, this is just an arbitrary example so that he . . or she, doesn't take it personally) when I turn the tables and make that person look like the self-righteous, petty, ignorant, arrogant, conspiring, inequitable, discriminating, dim-witted, childish, low piece of that brown stuff between elephant's toes, and the insignificant acorn in the disc golf world that he (or she, this is just an example) truly is, I don't want my remarks to be deleted only to have his equally (blah, blah, example) insulting bantering left on the board at his sole discretion. When all we are doing is returning the enemy's fire, I don't want my ammunition to be taken away until I'm able to make a board meeting which coincidentally is only minutes from his house, for example. The enemy has the ability to keep firing bullets anywhere he chooses while anytime he has a temper tantrum, he can make everyone else put down their weapons.

Give everyone the same editorial rights and THEN let the zingers fly. Daddy likes zingers.

if there is such a need to settle so to speak, then have a calling out of the db you choose. you challenge him/her to a course, set any other bets, play the round and pay up or get paid. looser has puss in boots rights taken away from board for a year.

Suemac, I feel your pain. I'm glad you are still going to play though. Unlike somebody else. Zing

The only person I would get to challenge would be the little girl that beat me at states last year throwing nothing but a paper plate. I'm not even sure she was actually in the tournament but she pissed me off after winning the first three holes so I kept challenging her at the next tee box. The score would have been worse but I noticed mustard on her plate and I had her penalized for using an altered disc. I started to make my comeback when the wind kicked up but it was too little too late. That and her Mom made her leave because it was getting dark.

But I could see the challenge deal working out with handicap rounds.

Can somebody on the southside please go pick up Randys man card. It's an authorized revocation. Btw the only reason he made a come back against 6 year old Dakota was she fell on the playground equipment and broke her hand.... The mustard was deemed to be not a factor on her paper plate...

I agree that a positive tone is easier to swallow. But Randy has a point.

When Larry slams folks, directly or in his more snake like questions, if you don't agree with him..........he deletes your posts and sends this messge. I dont mind the message from a moderator, but not from someone who is allowed to spew whatever he chooses................

BTW, I feel that he was just as "at fault" as anyone else, but he gets a hall pass cause he's larr-i

Today's posts...
Susan,

I asked a question of Billy Gilbert regarding the Warm Up tournament.

If you continue to antagonize me, I will simply ban you and let you appeal it at the next club meeting.

You aren't running the tournament so at least have the courtesy to wait until Billy posts an answer. Then you can feel free to express whatever opinion you have about Billy's answer to your hearts content.

If you persist in antagonizing me, I'll shut you down and you can plead you case with the club.

Larry

THIS DOES NEED TO STOP, BUT UNTIL LARRY IS HELD TO THE SAME RULES, IT WON'T EVER STOP. If the original post by Billy had been read by Larry, he never would have asked about sanctioning. a $10 entry with cash payout for everyone..............rocket science.
