I almost went for it too....a piece of spam that got through! At first I couldn't even delete it from my PM notification, but it finally deleted just now.

I'd deleted the spammer account yesterday.

The PM didn't go to everyone, so unless users report spam PM's the moderators might not know about them.

The version of vBulletin that HFDS is running is several revs behind and has some known vulnerabilities. Only Larry has the power to get this updated.

These are good products that are free you might try for cleaning up your computer. If the spyware/virus is sophisticated at all, a rollback won't help.
