Burke-Crenshaw Blues II/Birdshot Mini

Believe it or not, this little course is coming back & in better shape than it was to begin with! We'll be having a mini here on Saturday, February 20th...there are ten baskets in the ground now & Tyler Knittle has been instrumental in working with the City of Pasadena to get those laid out & is working with the City to put in eight more! If we can get eight Birdshooters to bring out temps for the mini, we could even play the whole thing! We wouldn't be picky about the baskets....the lightweight portable ones would be fine just to see where the new holes are going to be. If any of you out there are interested in bringing a traveler basket or something like that, please get in touch! See website for more details!

We have four baskets committed for Saturday morning....if we can get four more, we can play the proposed 18 holes! Please get in touch with one of us if you can bring a temp basket Saturday....it can even be a cheapie four-chain with mesh DiscCatcher Traveler (that's what I'm bringing!). It would be cool if we could play all 18 holes...we'll see what happens!

Ryan wasn't on the list of committed baskets, so I think that makes 4. 1 from Ryan, 2 from Tiff, and one from Susan. I just looked at the committed basket list consisted of Lesli, Billy, Chris, and Gene Engel.....whaa-la! 18 holes for the mini....

Excellent news! I'm glad we're going to be able to 'make' the full course.

On Sunday Billy, Chuck and I played the alts and walked the new holes. The alts were fun but I think playing the 8 holes that have yet to be installed will be great for the course. We had a lot of fun too; the ducks by the lake love to chase white putters. I guess they think we're throwing bread. When they get to the putter they gather 'round it and quack disapprovingly.

Let's all come out and play this mini and show some interest in disc golf in Pasadena.
