none of those courses are even rated above 3.5 stars on dgcr. that's a bummer because KC was awesome

Hopefully the Mid-Ohio guys are working hard to get those courses in the best shape ever. There might also be some modifications for the Worlds event to change up the courses somewhat. I'm hoping they play a bit better than their average review shows come this June.

Lets calculate the cost here. 6 nights lodging at $70/night + 6 days food at $30/day = $600 + entry at $115 = $715 + transportation. About $1000. I just need a $1000 sponsorship. If you'll sponsor me Billy Birdshot, I'll sponsor you. Thats the ticket.

I signed up yesterday.....goin' to Ohio, baby!!! Thanks to my wife Cathy for sponsoring me (it's my anniversary present...23 years this Sunday) and letting me out of the house for a week! I told her I wanted to go while I could still walk! I'm hoping the courses are not as hard as Worlds past...maybe I'll have a few semi-decent rounds. It doesn't matter though.....I just want to experience having to get up every morning to go play disc golf....I might be a wreck by week's end, but it'll be worth it!

Just got off the phone with the "genius" Michael Brockmyre....with the help of William Shatner (via Priceline) he found us a room at Comfort Inn in Marion, double occupancy for around $44 a night!!! The rest of you out there should follow suit ASAP before everything fills up....that's nearly 50% off what was advertised through PDGA! Now I am officially stoked!!!

Thanks for the tip! I offered $40 and they accepted, just under $47 per night after taxes/fees.
