I birdied #9 for the first time yesterday, and I loved it. I landed my first shot right inside the opening. I was looking at that tree cutting right through the basket in my line of sight, so I pulled out my Pro D Challenger, hyzered around the tree and nailed the chains dead center. I love the sound of a new basket, especially on a cool birdie.

It's been missing since Wednesday. The Parks Dept doesn't have another one in reserve so locals are trying to raise some funds for a replacement. If you're coming to Lake Jackson tomorrow and want to help see Billy and let him know you want to donate to a new basket at Brooks.
