I took a look at the park today and it looks like a another Tom Bass like course; flat with small trees. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, Tom Bass is 20+ miles from this park and the closest 18 hole course is Moffitt. The park doesn't have what it would take to make a difficult course, but it does look like a great location for a new course. The city needs more courses inside the Beltway.

I google mapped it and also have the HCAD listing to see who owns it.

There is a gate just south of the marker on the map where you can see a driveway. I figured that would be where people parked. I believe there is some gravel there.

Do we have a contact person at HPARD that could get us some info on why this park is fenced off? I think it has great potential.

I saw nothing Wilmont about that park. Better go find another church with some extra ground, as most of the property that will potentially be available..............is just like that spot we speak of.

What about Challenger 7 Memorial park in Webster? http://www.co.harris.tx.us/comm_Lee/PChallenger7/

It's certainly big enough to handle 18 holes. Unfortunately most of the prime areas in the park for a disc golf course already have an established function. What is left is either wide open, impenetrably thick woods, or swampland. It still has a lot of potential though.

I used to play frisbee on that hill as well as hacky sak. great park with lots of land.

I enjoy going to Telge park during lunch hours and it is a prime location, imo
