It looks like we wont be using the other side of the road because of a possible softball field coming in, so I will be adjusting the layout again closer to the original design shown here:

Just to update everyone: The church tells me they can raise the money to buy 9 new baskets in a month or so. In the meantime John and I will be fine tuning some of the fairways. If the money isnt raised soon I am going to suggest again that they accept HFDS great offer.

Good news: The church staff did remove all but one of the old wooden teeboxes, so hopefully there will be less confusion about those.

I know of the front nine, hole four by the basket, almost all of five, seven around the trees at the basket (you may not want to clear that ) and the nine is pretty high the whole fairway to the basket. Have you got any weed killer laying around? Those little briars are annoying.

Never thought about it, but that might work. We were hoping some normal grass would grow eventually.

Rye grass will grow quickly, ask Steve about Shawshank, so weed killer then cheap rye grass seed would add a lot to that course.

We have a decent amount of lawn equipment and only live 10 mins away. Let me know which days you plan on clearing.

I just spoke with the church, things are still moving forward, they are using the youth group to clean whatever debris is left.

They are about halfway there as far as funds for the next 9 baskets, so possibly they will purchase some of them soon and then the rest later this year.
