you can ask lee what i told him with a couple of holes before i left (i had to be in conroe by 7:00 when the round started and i got a call about 9 holes in that said i needed to be there by 6:00, it was about 4:00 at that time and i still needed to go fish a disc out of the creek on hole 5 and go home and take a shower).

the gist of what i said was the course still needs some work. it is very obvious that lots of hard work had been put in and i appreciated it. but to say that a course isn't ready for an A-tier is not to dog it.

i enjoyed my time out there. i wish i would have played better but that problem started long before i got to the tough holes on the second course. i had two different 5's on birdie holes on the "easy" course. yikes!

we can get in touch with each other because i do have some suggestions. i in no way meant to offend. i would love for you to direct whomever complained to you to speak to me so i could apologize to them.

Sure want to thank you for the event! It was really great getting a chance to finally see that second course! You guys have really put a lot of work into it!

Did not get to it last night. Had too much fun at league. The visiting with Rob about adjusting #5 at the hill course. Think we're turning it into 2 holes working up then down the slope rather then paralleling the slope.

Aww, I liked #5. It's one of those atypical holes that invites you to throw an upshot/midrange off the tee for placement, then chunk a driver.

I like it too! Just need to clear out a few trees for a better landing zone and trim the limbs t the mouth of the gap about 2ft.
