What is on the agenda for the Texas States meeting? I plan on talking about the Tourney course, Staff/Sponsor Compensation, shirt ordering. What else? I think it should be standard from now on that there is a Texas States meeting after HFDS meeting Jan, Feb, and March.

Club meeting tomorrow night. Tuesday May 4th.
Where: Tia Maria's Mexican Restaurant Dacoma at 290 (NW corner of Loop 610) When: 7:00 pm Exit 290 at Mangum-Dacoma and turn South on Dacoma. Tia Maria's is the first building on the right. Our meetings are very informal...most of us order some food and beverages and we conduct business while we eat. A typical meeting usually ends around 8:30 or 9:00pm depending on how much business there is to discuss. Our meetings are always open to the general public and we welcome and encourage all to come and participate. Richard |

Dang it! I completely forgot about it being the first Tuesday of the month! Sorry I missed it.
I would like to provide a status on the two proposals that I submitted to HPARD the day before the April meeting, but I haven't gotten any status yet. I'm hopeful that I will at least be able to shed some light on whose desk they are sitting on.

One other thing...regarding the Moffitt Concrete Tee box Proposal from the Stallman's:
I was told that the project was actually in the hands of the HPARD "Implementation Department" which is actually the final step before they're built! Like many others, I'll believe it when I see it (after all of these years) but it really sounds like this is going to happen finally!!! Congrats to the Stallman's for having their proposal approved!!! (Hopefully, this will be beginning of many of our local courses getting a much needed facelift!)
