Default Birdshot Mini at Nottingham Park

Please see the post at Nottingham under the Area Courses link. I'm too lazy to retype the whole post again.

Birdshot Minis have turned into a mini version of the Championship Series complete with Division Point standings and 9 basket Disc Golf Course Championship. The mini series next stop is at Nottingham Park on Saturday, Aug 2nd. Its actually 12 baskets but we won't quibble over trivial details and include it in the 9 basket series. The name of the mini is "The Sheriff of Nottingham Park". Or should it be "I shot the Sheriff of Nottingham Park, but I did not shoot the deputy." Too long. For all the info on our minis visit our website at www.houstonbirdshot.com. Where else can Ams get cash payout? The first person that can tell me who the Sheriff of Nottingham Park is will get a Birdshot stamped mini. Hint: Its a disc golf player, not from the Robin Hood story. email me at charleshconaway@yahoo.com

There you go and I want to play ADV.

So what is the deal with the Championship points? It seems a little unfair as almost nobody is listed or even know about it. I know Jake was wondering about the brooks guys.

The Championship points are explained in detail on the Birdshot's website. On the homepage click on the Championship Series link and then click on the Division Points Standings link. Quick summary is each player gets points in accordance with how they finish in their division at the tournaments.

I get that and read through it all but so far it just seems like the course with the most people wins and only like 10% of the players are on there.

What is the rundown so far of the top 3 courses? I will pick my home course accordingly.

I thought you were talking about the Players Championship, but you are talking about the course Championship. I forgot to talk about it at the Players meeting at Mozola. The website should have the results also. South conference - 1st place - Jack Brooks, 2nd - Quail Valley Links. North conference - 1st place - Agnes Moffitt, 2nd - Spring Valley. This is optional for players and they may not care about participating.

The Course Championship is based on the honor system that you sign up for the course that is closest to you.

What if the course you live close to isn't the one you play the most?

Per the rules, you gotta pick the course closest to you: "They must choose the course that they live closest to, not their favorite course."

That makes just as much sense as the day of signups. I used to live right behind Crenshaw but played it a few times a year.

Anyway saying that just because you live by a course it is your "home" course is lame. Anyway can you give me a laser measurement to my home course?
