The course has gone through 3 stages.

1. The original layout, pre-skatepark - 1998 to 2007

2. The temporary layout during skatepark construction - 2008-2009

3. The current permanent layout which restored holes 8 and 9 and modified 1 and 2 - 2010 to current

The course is as good as it could possibly be considering the skate park took a large chunk of the available land. I think the new shots are great

JMO, but I actually liked the "stage 2" version of hole #9 better. The current #9 at 447' is essentially unreachable off the tee for most players. That leaves them with a safe RHBH hyzer tee shot to the side of the hill and a relatively easy 100-150' upshot for what should be a 3. The "stage 2" #9 had you throwing a gutsy downhill shot at the basket to park it for a 2, wuss out for a 3, or go long and lose a disc and card a circle-3 or 4.

you can birdie this hole, ive done it by throwing close to the hill and its not nearly as far as you think. its a birdie that does take some skill, like the rest of the new holes which i think is way better than that old temp layout

League play on Monday July 5th will be at MacGregor. I expect the course will be damp, and thus we will play the sticks. I will be there at 4 pm for any card that wants to go early.
