Any plan to make an actual fairway on #14?

Hmmm, 8 is a good hole. Moving it to the "right corner" will cause problems as players throw into the private property of a very unfriendly homeowner that does not want dg'ers on his side of the fence.

That hole really has tightened up but I think all you need is the 1st limb on the left 70ft away taken out! That hole should be a good three for AMs and you can do it with a mid off the tee and an easy layup. Now when you go for it which most shouldn't then the tight fairway makes it a little harder.

Also there is always the Hyzer route!

I went out there on Friday for the 1st time since the city ran that tournament and wished it was a little closer because it is a great practice course.

"Make a fairway"??

The hole is designed as a big reverse curve / lefty hyzer. It is tight but there is a flight lane there. There is also a straight window through the tiny gap between the hedge & tree branches.

It's golf - shoot a great shot, be rewarded. Miss the line, it'll cost you a stroke. You should still make you three if you don't hit the window.

The land directly to the right of #8 does not belong to the homeowner, it is just the 200ft. wide boundry provided by the city as a buffer where nothing is supposed to be built. His land is only directly behind his house, take a look next time youre out there and you can see the space on each side. If a disc strays into that area, its no problem. moving #8 would be last on the list.

No plans to change that one/ Theres a big hole to shoot through on the upper right, just aim for the tree behind the basket and youve got a birdie.

Interesting to see the opinions on #14. At the Wal*Mart charity 4-man scramble a couple weeks back we had 9 people (including Dixon, Jim, Lance...) on the top "card" and IIRC only three made it through with anything close to a decent shot.

I'm not sure how to explain that.

I know there is also a hyzer option that only appears during winter.

What do you expect they are all Texans!

The hole is there and I still think that limb should be trimmed a bit to give more room to shape a shot before hitting the gap.

This is the limb by the tee box, not over the hedges right? That one has impeded the intended shot a little bit.
