DG, I cant wait to see the new course. I am in Mississippi working the oil spill and have to work the day of the tournament but I might take off to go play. I cant wait to see all the great work you and the Klien crew put in.

Call me a slacker Billy - I keep forgetting to mail you out my entry for the TBM in Beaumont. Is it going up for online registration any time soon or should I still get that to you via the snail carrier?

Thanks Chris! I think I've got it submitted, but I experienced a few "issues" with the online registration.

When I "checked out" the tournament I signed up for is listed as McSummertime Sizzler. Also: I selected division code(s) and plugged in my PDGA and clicked "Add to Cart" It took me to verification page with a "continue shopping" button, but when I clicked on that button, it just took me back to the tournament registration page and because none of the control states were saved, it looked like I had to do it all over again. I eventually managed to get Ace Pot added onto it and then I changed the quantity of registrations back to one and checked out.

BTW - I spoke with Ed Morgan last night, and he sounds like he's gonna make the trip to Beaumont too. We're hoping to beat the drums enough to get a MPG field out there. Please pass the word to any "old guys" you might know to let them know we're planning on heading to this tourney next month.

Yes, I noticed this yesterday. I fixed this issue last night and don't worry if you've registered already, it applies to the TBM tourney so you needn't do a thing.

The Paypal service we use is a shopping cart system. Each 'item' in your registration (division fee, ace pot and non-member fees if applicable) has to be added separately. After you add your div fee you don't need to enter that info again.

I know this isn't the easiest system to use but paypal adds more fees if we want to use a less user intensive system.

You registration processed just fine. Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep looking for ways to make it easier.

The good news is that time passes a lot quicker as you get older Jake...it'll probably seem like just a couple of months to you now.

We'll be glad to have you joining up with us old, old guys.
