thanks for the kind words. it is very satisfying to see the course freshly mowed. My hope is to mow 14-20 on Monday. the grass on future 19 is really starting to get "train" well and will be a great addition to the course. Future Hole 20: I plan to fertilize the island landing zone so it will be SUPER green which will be pretty sweet.

I got 14-20 mowed today. It is obvious that I have not played in a while cause I had NO IDEA how tall the grass was on hole 17. I had to mow over it so slow and still go over everything twice. took forever but now it looks amazing. If you have not played the Windwood Course in a while, now is the time to do it.

WORK DAY JULY 3rd - 7:30am - 10:30am and then we are gonna play a round. bring shovels and axes.

Hey Doug,
Thanks for your hard work in maintaining the course. You can count me in on Saturday for some work and then some play. Hopefully, there is a decent turnout of workers. If anyone can spare just a couple of hours Saturday morning and give just a little bit back to the sport that we all love to play, it would be greatly appreciated! The more people that show up......the quicker and easier it is on everyone. So, come on and get a little dirt under your finger nails........or wear some gloves for a little while and then get some plastic under your finger nails!
Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday morning!

first business is getting you to throw right handed lol, then get you take your heels off when driving.

bring spare quarters for after the work is done.

Scott and all - yes we have some SUPER exciting plans - small stump removal. It might not seem exciting but it is really needed. Right now I can't mow certain areas of the course OR when I do, I have to be super slow to prevent being stuck or hitting the small 1"-2" stumps that are out there on hole 2, 11, 13. If we can get a nice size crew I really think we can get it done in an hour or so. They aren't big just to big to mow over. Bring axes, shovels, hatchets or what ever else you got to take them out.

Peace
Doug Rogers

I don't think we can accomplish that in a couple hours... Do you know how much I paid for those heels?

we will just see what we can get done. It all depends on how many people show up. :-)
