Under normal conditions there's no water in play on the course. Generally the course drains pretty well. There are foot bridges over the gullies.
However, if it has been raining hard the area left of #2's fairway can get soggy. |

Also...if there is water in the ditch...it's casual (Derek, I know you like that!)...and it looks like we are going to have the three "mini" holes, so be sure to bring a small assortment of minis for those holes. Gosh, I don't think I have a driver, mid-range & putter in my minis...surely those three holes will throw a couple of wrenches into otherwise stellar rounds!
Those of you who have the mini-baskets will have an advantage on the rest of us...assuming, of course, that you actually practice with them! Should be fun, no matter what...and, as usual, afterwards we will go find some lunch & then go play another course nearby. Chris had said doubles on our website, but that's not set in stone...and I certainly don't want to open up another can of worms like we did regarding the doubles game at Dunbar a couple of weeks ago...that gave me a major headache! Doubles is fine if everybody wants to play that format, but I'm not so sure I want to do it for money....that could lead to the can of worms I was just referring to! We'll take a vote on where & how....toss-up between First Colony, The Links and Tom Bass!

next time you guys see me out on the course, pull me aside and I will give you a quick run down on what funny is all about.
