I guess i've been lucky at Macgregor...maybe a couple of guys asking to bum a cigarette (not even money!)...that's about it. I love playing Macgregor...maybe because it's one of the few courses I occasionally shoot par on! There are a couple of low spots that pond when it rains, but other than that it's a nice course & fun to play.

Hit two mounted police, and one on a bike at Mozola, didn't feel safe at all. Got a cop on a motorcycle at MacGregor once, and one in his squad car parked on the fairway. Do I have the record for most cops hit?

I don't think that hitting someone with a disc is grounds for assault.

I could be wrong though... http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,427365,00.html

I wasn't worried about assault charges, It was the lead poisoning that came to mind.

Although wife has filed similiar charges against me, with pretty sniff penalties

BTW I wonder what kind of evidence the officer collected....

Went out to Mason last week. Found six workable baskets and two broken ones. Area actually looked pretty clean, but the biggest issue was that the parks service planted new trees around the entire bayou area making it unplayable. Too bad, the hill and trees looked like it would have been fun to play.

Got out my whip and fedora hat and did some exploring at Mason today. Managed to find all nine baskets, but only one tee box. Some really pathetic baskets on three of 'em:

Does anyone know who designed Mason?

Andi Young designed Mason. She has designed most of the courses in Houston. ERic, I will email you the spreadsheet I have of the courses and who designed them. I don't have Gwen Hruska and Crosspoint Community Church.

I don't know about Gwen, but the staff at Crosspoint designed the now 9-hole version of it.

Chuck & I went by Mason Park yesterday....ERic had brought up the idea to possibly have a mini there to see if any interest could be re-sparked out there. It would be funky to play it the way it is, but it would be fun! There are three baskets where the pan is bolted down close to the ground...and it looks like they might break if we tried to take them out to move the basket back up! One basket has no chains at all...we might would want to bring out a temp for that one. We're not sure if anyone other than the three of us would show up for a mini here, but it might be fun!
