HPARD has access to the board. We have a contact that updates it for us, but it takes a long time.

For the next 2 months or so, Mozola is undergoing some construction and baskets 1 and 9 are removed until further notice. Once the area of construction is finalized in the next few weeks we may be allowed to put them in a temporary placement until construction is over.

We are going to try and continue the Monday Mini during construction using an alternate layout that makes 9 holes, or possibly bring out a temporary basket or two.

Kinda bummed...I was looking forward to playing regularly on friday afternoon after work. I work near downtown so Mozola was agood choice for me to warm up for a saturday round. I play two weeks ago and its totally diff from the last time i played. One is now two, two is different, eight is absorbed into 9 and so forth. So i'm like ok, next week I know hat is going on. So I show up this past friday and 1 is gone and so is nine and there is a rusted ford f150 parked seven feet from basket 7. Close the course until its done or leave it alone, quit half-assing it. Or throw up some info. Just my .02

The park is under construction, nothing we can do. Just throw from #1 tee to #2 basket, then play the rest as usual. In 2 months it should be back to normal

I made it out there today for a few holes, and needless to say was surprised to find those 2 missing baskets! Anybody have any idea what the construction plans are? It looks like the most construction is going on across from where the DG course is, on the other side of the bayou...

They are re-grading the edge of the bayou on both sides, they havent started the Mozola side yet but they wanted to pull the baskets anyways. Basket 1 was where a future contruction road will be, and basket 9 is in the grading area itself. Also there is a renovation of the pond near hole 7 basket. Should be back to normal in a couple of months

Derek, thanks for the info! It will interesting to watch the project as it unfolds and also what, if any, changes to the DG course there will be. I'm thinking 9 will at least change a little?

Who has been out to Mozola lately?? The banks of the bayou all along hole 9 and down to the basket at 6 are clean! Except for a few large trees, there's just nothing. Will definitely make 9 more interesting to play!

I wonder how many discs those workers found in all that underbrush and junk? lol I was actually talking to one of the workers today and he said he found 3 disc himself. He was asking me a little about how to play and where to start, etc. He said he wanted to bring his son out on Saturday to try it out and I thought that was kinda cool.
