Mini Medal Birdshot Mini/Sheriff of Nottingham III/Sept. 3, 2010

It's time once again for The Sheriff of Nottingham Mini at Nottingham Park on the west side of H-town....Jack Camp, our resident Deputy Sheriff of Nottingham, is putting up a $25 bounty (and Chuck's kicking in a $20 DGC voucher) for anyone who can birdie the entire round! Apparently it can be done (don't look at me!)....so bring out your best game & win some extra cash & plastic money! More details to follow....or visit the Birdshot website at www.houstonbirdshot.com.

Slight correction in the bounty info.....it will NOT be for the entire round, just for gettting birdies on the B-tees....Jack's calling it the "B-Tee Birdie Bounty"! That should make it a little bit easier for a lot of you folks...although I still will probably not be in contention!

Just a little bump & reminder about the mini this Saturday....24 holes in West Houston, with course steward & Deputy Sheriff of Nottingham Jack Camp's B-Hole Bounty up for grabs! This is a fun course to play & I'll be surprised if anyone gets that bounty...but I can't wait to find out!

Hoping to see a lot of you at the mini tomorrow morning....bring those small bills if you have them, please! There are no organized plans to play another course after we're through....Chuck will need to get back south to go to work....but the ever-popular Moffitt is really close by!

With only one hole over 300' it's doable... but is anyone going to string together 12 consecutive good putts?
Code:
Hole B A
=== ====  ====
 1 228' 353'
 2 249' 239'
 3 222' 300'
 4 218' 288'
 5 243' 317'
 6 248' 315'
 7 219' 251'
 8 330' 372'
 9 252' 360'
10 257' 329'
11 287' 503'
12 293' 311'

I think I heard Jack say he did 10 birdies a couple of weeks ago...I don't think I could get 12 birdies even at Clute!

I know there are a couple of holes & tees that are near some trees & in the dirt....depending on the amount of rain there could be a little mud going on there. If so, we can flag the boxes back a little or whatever it takes....I don't think there will be swamps like at Moffitt though!
