I also assume that Master's divisions will be larger than MPO? I guess I will go ahead and post this on the PDGA board for you guys

"I guess you already know about the alternate pin placements for 1,2,3,9,11,14,16. Right side OB string on 9 will not be in play for alternate pin 9. Did you know about the island OBs on 10,12,18?"

This actually scares me more than anything....

I just got back from the best DG tournament of my life on the BEST course I have played during a tournament and it made me realize ,more than before, just how much work is needed before spring.

I still see Climo and Schultz(If he shows) shooting WAY under par almost every round with the winner being around a -9 avg per round.

That depends on you... and if you want Andi can email you a sponsorship package and anyone you bring in, you can designate towards MPO if you choose? Fair enough? Oh yeah what the Heck... happened in Mass? Your facebook said you were putting before the event?

Patrick will post something on PDGA board. The added cash will probably be more than the minimum $500. How much you say? Wait for it. Will get back to that later. The Am players pack will be worth more than the $10 retail minimum. Custom stamped roc and towel so far. There will be custom stamped CFR and other discs with the Texas Department of Criminal Disc Golf logo on them. Tshirts with that logo also. Shirts are $15. Cost of discs vary. Around 7 different types of discs. What else? You already know about the new tee boxes, tee markers, and benches. Oh yeah, all of the baskets will have a concrete block under them for greater stability. There will be a mando for 5 but not for 13. DZ has been changed for 16. Lunch is catered from a BBQ place. We need for players to support the breakfast / lunch option. Thats all I can think of for now. Bottom line: The course just keeps getting harder and harder, better and better, tournaments better and better. 84 player limit strictly enforced due to limited daylight and playing difficult 21 holes. One last thing. There is only one way to escape the Shawshank Disc Golf Penitentiary. Shoot under par. 100 or above is life sentence with possible parole.
Sounds sweet! I'm going to sign up; I'm interested in seeing all these improvements since last fall.

The course looks great and there are improvements every week. I played twice this summer taking my son to summer camp. The first time I played I was impressed with the course, the tee boxes and signs. The second time, a week later, I was impressed with how much work had been done to the course. Steve is really putting on all the bells and whistles to make Shawshank the kind of course you'd like to serve a life sentence at.

I think I heard something about the shirts being a fundraiser for next spring's Major out there.

Shirts in players packs are tricky to do because of the various different sizes you have to have on hand to ensure everyone gets the one they want. Shirts have to be ordered ahead of time and players register late, sometimes the day of.
